Hi, I just paid a subsription fee in order to download and watch on train but there is no download icon on the app on my iPad. So not compatible with anything at all?

This is a stressful system. Can't we download for free? You're just encouraging piracy on your system!

I meant to add to last the comment. BBC Iplayer is not free, it is paid for by licence payers so don't expect ITV to be free! Either U watch ads or you pay for add free access. I just think customers should get a choice that's all. For example something similar to Spotify which is free with ads or pay & no ads, that way customers have a choice. But it needs to work on any device not just portable ones.

I've no problem with paying for downloads & ad free access. ITV have to make money somehow, and I'd rather pay than watch ads. BUT Why only Apple? What about Android, PC, Mac? Also I want to watch on a big screen not a little tablet.

What customers want is a choice of streaming for free with ads on any device -OR- Download on any device & keep for 30 days without ads for a fee. Give customers a choice, that way U please everyone. Give customers what they want is the first rule of business. There's obviously a demand You'll make ££ millions!

Trying to find the icon on my iPad can't see it can anyone help me?

Great news, but not if you are trying to download to a Macbook which would seem to be an obvious choice to watch t.v on! Have just wasted a month's subscription to Hub+ - can't believe that the itv system is so archaic

I find it funny that there's bunch of idiots in this comment section saying that BBC IPLayer is free...
It costs you £24.50 a month. Morons.

ITV, you are falling yet further behind the iPlayer here....get it sorted (for all devices for free...at least with the ads) or you will quickly become the betamax of the TV world!!

I just bought a subscription in order to download onto my macbook air but having almost lost the will to live trying to find a download 'icon', found myself on this page..... presumably my device is not compatible, thanks for pointing that out to me BEFORE I paid up!

paid my money but can't download. Wanted this for father in hospital. Know why I never watch itv myself. What a con. Will refer to trading standards and looking for my money back.

I've just paid can I not download on my android phone?

      • Anonymous commented  ·

sadly like many others I have been duped into paying 3.99 month thinking I could DL onto my tablet....duuh. Android tablets are not tablets? clever wording apple phones and tablets. will be cancelling on day 13. deceitful dummies.

      • Anonymous commented  ·

Advert should make clear that downloads are available only for Apple products. Wasted time & money subscribing. Sentence above should read on Apple phones and IPADS not tablets. I feel like iI have been conned and taken for a mug. In future i will only use ITV if there is no other alternative.

Why should I have to pay to download when I can go to BBC and download Completely free of charge. It is not fair whatsoever

      • Anonymous commented  ·

No where on this app does it state being able to download a program. It is unfair that we have to pay for a subscription so we can download, unlike BBC Iplayer when anyone can download any program. This is supposed to be a FREE app but we can only watch and not download

      • Anonymous commented  ·

It says downloads WITHOUT ads have to be paid for. So why is it not possible to download WITH ads? Presumably we have a choice?
Certainly won't be ripped off like this. I too will be using BBC.

Unfair that downloads are not free
